A Series: Can a serial command be used with a computer link?

ANSWER

Regular serial communication is not possible when computer link is selected.
The provided serial commands including the inspection start command are all invalid. Accordingly, when using the computer link, please input the start signal from the parallel interface.

When computer link is selected, the following parallel terminals, at the least, have to be connected.

-RDY (ready): Preparation complete signal
-STA (start): Inspection start
-TYP (type): Product type switch timing
-ERR (error): Error output
